The colour wheel is a personal project I collaborated on with Hayk to explore generative design techniques.
The idea emerged while we were working at Typeform on the design system. As we generated the new brand colours, we realized that, as designers, it was challenging to generate a colour palette to play with and experiment with from a product design perspective. Ensuring colour consistency, particularly in terms of saturation and lightness, was quite time-consuming, especially in a work environment where extensive testing was required before finalizing the design.
Hayk's generative tool was our first attempt at streamlining this process and making it more efficient and enjoyable. The tool greatly simplified the creation of the new Typeform product colours, allowing us to generate them more quickly, easily, and creatively.

You can try it here.
